STATUS: Completed August, 1999

OBJECTIVE: To develop GIS map coverages and provide hardcopy maps to support the Butte Creek Watershed planning effort.




SUMMARY: In 1996, the Butte Creek Watershed Conservancy secured funding to develop a plan for the watershed. The GIC created a series of thematic map coverages to support this effort. Additional maps have been added supporting the development of a watershed management strategy.

PROJECT AREA: Encompasses a large part of Butte County and smaller portions of Plumas, Tehama, Glenn, Colusa, and Sutter counties.
