| Over the last five years, the university administration, the Alumni Association and a few of the Colleges have become interested in GIS. In addition to GIS training, the GIC has assisted on projects such as mapping where our students live in an effort provide housing assistance, conducting property acquisition research, and in developing a campus parking map...click here. In addition, our local alumni association has shown a recent interest in finding out where our graduates have settled. Even our College of Agriculture uses GIS and asked the GIC to map infrastructure at the university farm. |
